Nursery Fees

Nursery Fees September 2024 - August 2025

Please see below for details of our fees structure for September 2024.

15 Hours Funding

All three and four year olds in Staffordshire are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education per week, over no fewer than 38 weeks of the year. This applies the term after their 3rd birthday until they reach recepiton age.  Norton Canes Primary Academy has one admission date per annum, which takes place in the autumn term starting in September.   We do require children to attend each day whilst they are in our nursery.  As our provision is lead by a qualified teacher we follow the curriculum and prepare children for starting reception the following September.  We are unable to offer ad-hoc days once children reach nursery age.

Norton Canes Primary Academy offer a morning session for all nursery children from 8.45am to 11.45am.

Lunchtime sessions from 11.45am to 12.30pm @ £2.50 per session.

Afternoon sessions from 12.30pm - 3.30pm @ £15.25 per session.

All booked sessions remain chargeable whether your child attends on the day as not as early years staffing ratios will have been put in place to ensure correct staffing levels.

Please note, the lunch session cannot be covered by educaitonal funding and are therefore charged at a minimum fee of £2.50.

Working families may be eligible for 30 hours of funded sessions.  If you think you may be eligible you must apply the term before you want to take up a place.

If eligible, you'll get an online childcare account and a code for 30 hours childcare.  In order to claim your 30 hours, you will need to provide ourselves with the code.
