Physical Education is every Tuesday and Friday for Year Six.   Please ensure that pupils come to school in their PE kit (white t-shirt, black shorts and trainers) and that earrings have been removed.  We aim to have PE outside as much as possible pupils are also encouraged to wear tracksuit bottoms and a warm jumper over the top of their usual kit.

Year Six homework is split into the following:

Maths - MyMaths online learning. Each week your child will be set an online lesson and homework task either linking to their current topic within maths or prior knowledge learning

Reading - Reading at home should be completed and signed off by parents at least 3x a week. We encourage Year 6 to read a range of different texts at home (news articles, reviews, different genres of books and their own reading book) in short bursts regularly. In addition to this, children may be sent home a mini comprehension activity to keep sharp on certain reading skills they are learning within class.

Grammar - Children will be sent a grammar task home each week to be completed and returned each Friday.

Spellings - Currently, children are set 6 new spellings a week and are tested each Friday before being set new ones.
