The Victorians
Year 3 time travelled back into the Victorian era today to experience what it was like to be a child back in those times. They accomplished reciting the alphabet backwards, times tables in arithmetic and developing their handwriting. At the end of the day, they all said they definitely preferred Miss Boulton and Miss Wright in the present school day than in the Victorian days.
The children were amazed to see their classroom had turned into a mine during lunchtime! They experienced how hard it was for a child their age to be moving coal in a confined space.
