P.E

Year Two children have P.E on a Tuesday and a Friday. Please ensure children are sent to school in their P.E kits and that any earrings have been removed. We aim to have P.E outside as often as possible so please ensure your child is suitably dressed for the weather conditions.

Homework

Children are able to make the best progress in their learning when they receive consistent support from school and home. In Year Two we ask that you complete the following homework weekly.

• Reading at home at least 3 nights a week -  This reading can be a combination of their phonics book, shared reader or books from home. As children complete Read, Write, Inc. phonics, they will progress to a book banded book for their independent reading and a library book for their shared reader.
