PE

Pupils in Year 3 have PE each Wednesday and Friday.  Please ensure that pupils come to school in their PE kit (white t-shirt, black shorts and trainers) and that earrings have been removed.  We aim to have PE outside as much as possible pupils are also encouraged to wear tracksuit bottoms and a warm jumper over the top of their usual kit.

Reading

We will aim to change home reading books as regularly as possible to ensure a love of learning and lots of range. We expect you to read daily. 

Homework

Children are able to make the best progress in their learning when they receive consistent support and collaboration from both school and home.  In Year Three we ask that you complete the following homework on a weekly basis:

• Reading at home at least three times per week - This reading can be a combination of their phonics book, shared reader or books from home. 
• Homework set by Miss Boulton - Homework is set by Miss Boulton every Friday. Please ensure your child completes their homework by the following Wednesday. Any homework not completed will be done in your child's breaktime.
