Reception September 2026

For Staffordshire school admission for Reception 2026, applications can be made online between November 1st 2025 and January 15th 2026. The online application can be found on the Staffordshire County Council website once applications open. You can apply if your child's fifth birthday is between September 1, 2026, and August 31, 2027. 

• Application period: November 1, 2025, to January 15, 2026. 
• Application method: The quickest and easiest way is to apply online through the Staffordshire County Council website. 
• Eligibility: Children starting reception in September 2026 are eligible if their fifth birthday falls between September 1, 2026, and August 31, 2027. 
• National Offer Day: Parents will receive the outcomes of their applications on April 16, 2026.
